SWETA BABLADI
BEGINNER PIANO & FLUTE
Sweta Babladi is a Calgary-born flautist whose musical journey began with her early
training in vocal Carnatic music and piano. She discovered her love for the flute at the
age of twelve, and was a member of the nationally recognized wind bands at Western
Canada High School from 2019-2022.

Sweta is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music degree in Flute Performance at the
University of Calgary. She performs with Mount Royal Conservatory’s Calgary Youth
Orchestra, the UCalgary Orchestra, and the UCalgary Wind Ensemble, and is a
participant of the Calgary Pro Musica’s Young Artists’s Development Program for
2025-2026.
In addition to her performance work, Sweta is deeply passionate about music education
and advocacy in the performing arts. She works with the Music Undergraduate Society
as a student leader to elevate the visibility of the performing arts in Calgary and foster a
stronger sense of community among music students.
