CELINE SIMARD
VOICE & BEGINNER GUITAR
Celine Simard is a singer-songwriter, recording artist, and performer who teaches vocals and
guitar. She spent six years as a student and cast member of the Young Canadians School of
Performing Arts, where she developed a strong foundation in vocal performance, stage
presence, and musicianship. As an independent artist, she has pursued her solo career under
the stage name CELIN. She released her debut EP, Purely Chemical, in 2026 and toured
Western Canada as a solo artist in the spring of 2026. Celine writes, records, and plays a major
role in producing her own music. She is passionate about lifelong learning, continually investing
in her growth as an artist and creator through programs such as Canada's Music Incubator's AE
West Program (2024) and SOCAN's Equity X Production Mentorship Program (2026). Through
her ongoing work as a performer, songwriter, and recording artist, she brings current, real-world
music industry experience into every lesson.
Celine is passionate about helping students grow not only as musicians, but as confident and
creative individuals. She believes music lessons should be a safe and encouraging space
where students feel comfortable taking risks, making mistakes, and discovering their unique
voice. In lessons with Celine, students can expect to learn healthy vocal habits, including proper
warm-ups and cool-downs, while developing skills in technique, ear training, performance,
musicality, style, and expression. With a strong focus on storytelling and emotional connection,
she encourages singers to go beyond simply singing the notes and learn how to communicate
the meaning behind a song. Whether a student is preparing for the stage or simply singing for
the joy of it, Celine's goal is to make learning engaging, rewarding, and fun while helping each
student build confidence in their abilities.
