Instructor

Keith Watson

  • Keith first started learning piano on his own at the age of 6. However, at the age of 15, he switched to the guitar. He learnt every possible Led Zeppelin note by 17 and started teaching music. A few years later, he took up classical guitar, as it sounded harder than the music he was playing. Keith then completed his Royal Conservatory studies and switched back to jazz, rock and roll, blues, and folk. He also picked up a bass, ukulele, mandolin, and didgeridoo. With over 40 years of teaching, he believes that learning has to be fun. Keith has also been on stage with artists such as Randy Bachman, Trooper, Loverboy, Tom Cochrane, Northern Pikes, Jim Cuddy, Big Sugar, Colin James, and more.
