Christophe Le Roux
.
Christophe first started taking guitar lessons at the age of 16 with the desire of learning to play his favourite tunes. As he improved, his interest in playing grew and he joined his first band in 1997 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
In 2002, Christophe began a two year program at the Institut des Musiques Modernes et Improvisees in Limoges, France. This program focused extensively on the study of jazz theory, the development of creativity and the pedagogy of teaching music.
At the time of completion, Christophe was offered a teacher position in a music school where his special tutorial approaches demonstrated strong musical efficiency. He quickly gained the trust of both students and parents and his studio expanded rapidly.
Christophe strongly believes that practice makes perfect, that's why he develops, in a friendly atmosphere, a routine of practice tailored for each student. He follows the motto: 'Patience and perseverance have a magical effect before which difficulties disappear and obstacles vanish.' With that patience, Christophe is able to make guitarists sound good and help all of his students become not only a successful guitarist but also a more complete musician.
