Allison Cully

Allison was born and raised in Calgary.  She got her musical start with piano lessons at the age of 5. She abandoned that for guitar at 12, followed by violin and drums. 

Her guitar back ground is varied, ranging from folk to musical theatre to jazz ensembles.  She finally chose classical guitar as her area of choice in 1999 and began studying through the Mount Royal Conservatory in 2005.

Although her love for classical music runs deep, she still enjoys occasionally cranking up the distortion and blasting out “Smoke on the Water”.
