I have been working at Cornerstone since 1999 when I was a student at Wilma Hansen Junior High. I have had many teaching jobs, as well as other part time jobs, but Cornerstone has always been my favorite, which is why I come back every year. I attribute my extended experience here to the great staff, parents, but most of all to the amazing students, some of whom I am fortunate to see year after year and have formed great relationships with. Lately I find myself saying "we" as in "we did a good job at the recital!" and "my kids" all too often. Currently I have my grade 10 piano from the RCM, and I am slowly working towards my performers ARCT. I am also in my last year of a bachelor of science in biochemistry at the U of C, so this keeps me fairly busy. I would like to continue with my own music education when I finish grad school, whatever that maybe?? If anyone has any suggestions, I would be more than happy to listen. I hope to stay at Cornerstone for many more years to come.
