2009 - 2010

LESSON FEES

1) $24.00/half hr regular teacher, $25.00/half hr drop in lessons, $30.00/half hr advanced teacher.
2) Students who pay the year in advance will receive a rate of $22.00/half hour (plus 10% off all merchandise) (Offer expires February 1st)
3) There is a $20.00 administration fee for new students.
4) There are 2 methods of payment:

• Visa and MasterCard at the beginning of each month.
• Cash and Debit at the beginning of the month. (First and Last month must be paid at the    commencement of lessons.)
  

5) There is a $20.00 charge for NSF cheques.

LESSONS

Lessons are offered in 30 and 60 minute time frames.

TEACHERS

Cornerstone Music has high standards in the teachers that teach your children. The teachers are very dedicated to giving your child the best possible music education. For most of the teachers, teaching is their sole income.
It is very important that communication between the teacher and the parents be consistent and frequent. If the teachers need to talk to you about your child’s progress, they will do this at the end or the beginning of your child’s lessons, or at another arranged time. The teachers are asked to give as close to a full 30 minute lesson as possible, and as a result may not be able to continue conversation with you into the next student’s lesson time. Please respect this.
If for any reason you are dissatisfied with any aspect of your music lessons, please contact the front desk immediately so we can deal with any issues.

LESSON MAKE-UP POLICY

Teacher cancels:

Most of our teachers are either professional musicians or University students, and as a result they will miss a lesson from time to time. The policy for a teacher canceled lesson is that the student will receive a make up lesson at a convenient time for both the teacher and the student. We also from time to time may have a substitute teacher fill in.

Student cancels:

We do not give make lessons, or refunds when a student cancels.
There are occasions that leniency to this policy will be observed.

WITHDRAWAL/CANCELLATION OF LESSONS

Paying Monthly – 1 month’s notice must be given.
Paying Yearly – Refund given with a cancellation fee.
